What models do your parent coaches use?

We use the Trust-Based Relational Intervention with an emphasis on connected parenting and emotional regulation.

Where do you provide this service?

Parent coaching is available for families in their home, by phone or Skype conference, or within a group/community setting, serving Montgomery/Howard/PG/Baltimore counties in Maryland. Services may open in Carroll & Frederick counties starting in 2018.

PACKAGES & TBRI INTENSIVE OPTIONS

There are times when families are in crisis or need comprehensive services in their home. We are here to help! Below are suggested packages; however, it is possible to custom-tailor a program to fit your family’s needs. Please call 301-740-6643 for more information. OPTION #1: TBRI & CONNECTED PARENTING GROUP PHONE CONFERENCE
  • Learn and discuss TBRI & Connected parenting theory and strategies; complete suggested homework for implementation
  • 8 week cycles of 30 minute lunch-time or 45 minute evening conferences available
  • $15-20 per participant, per conference
 
OPTION #2: PARENT COACHING, PER HOUR

$65 per hour + $10 travel fee for less than 30 min travel time (paid directly to coach for reimbursement of mileage; for more than 30 min travel time, additional fees apply)

  • Ask about the use of insurance
OPTION #3: FOUR HOUR Basic TBRI Implementation
  •      Intake phone conference with preparatory materials (30 mins)
  •      One-time in-home coaching session (3 hours)
  •      Follow-up phone conference (30 mins)
OPTION #4: FOUR WEEK TBRI BOOT CAMP (11 hours)
  • Intake phone conference with preparatory materials (30 mins)
  • 3 hours of in-home coaching & 30-minute follow up phone conference during the first week
  • 2 hours of weekly in-home coaching & 30-minute follow up phone conferences for weeks 2-4, with the focus on correcting principles, relationship repair and regulation

* Psychotherapy is not included in this service. Parent coaches have a minimum bachelor’s degree, are pursuing a master’s degree in social work and/or have received training in TBRI from Sara Rodriguez, LCSW-C. If you would like in-home counseling services provided by an independently-licensed psychotherapist, different rates and services will apply.
